Dr. Sanjukta (Sanj) Mohanta is a general dentist practicing in Toronto. She graduated from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry in 1999 and was awarded the Alumni of Influence Award. Sanj founded the New Dentist Study Club and hosts their podcast. She is a writer, speaker, mentor, advocate and volunteer. Sanj focuses on pediatric dentistry, prevention, and public health. She is on the Boards of Filling the Gap Dental Outreach and the Canadian Association of Public Health Dentistry. Sanj is part of the Ontario Dental Association's (ODA) Remote Areas Program, which provides dental care to remote Indigenous communities. She is proud to have received the ODA Award of Merit and the ODA Service Award.
