Description
Pig Mandible Dental Implant Hands-On Course
This immersive, hands-on course is designed for clinicians who want to elevate their surgical and implant skills by mastering implant-minded extractions, socket preservation, and immediate implant placement. Using pig mandibles, participants will gain practical experience that directly translates to predictable clinical outcomes.
Throughout the day, clinicians will learn how to perform atraumatic extractions with future implant placement in mind, accurately classify extraction socket defects, and select the appropriate bone grafting and membrane protocols. The course places a strong emphasis on preserving and reconstructing hard tissue at the time of extraction to simplify implant surgery and enhance long-term success.
A key focus of this course is understanding when and how to place implants immediately into fresh extraction sockets, including achieving primary stability, managing defects, and optimizing implant positioning. Through guided hands-on exercises, participants will develop confidence in transitioning seamlessly from extraction to grafting and, when indicated, to immediate implant placement.
Mentored by experienced clinicians in a supportive, collaborative environment, this course is ideal for dentists seeking to make surgical extractions more predictable, efficient, and minimally invasive, while laying the foundation for successful implant therapy.
